International Gaming Technology (IGT), the American gaming tools designer and manufacturer has announced that they recently renewed their online casino gaming license with Hasbro Incorporated, the leader in toy manufacturing.
The deal will allow the IGT Interactive subsidiary to continue to distribute online casino games based on popular Hasbro brands, such as Monopoly, Transformers and Battleship. The license will see the Reno-based IGT distributing the branded games in legalized jurisdictions until the end of 2014.
“IGT is delighted to have reached agreement to continue and also build upon our successful business relationship with Hasbro,” commented Gideon Bierer, Executive Vice President for IGT Interactive in San Francisco.
“IGT is well-known for offering high quality online mobile games and some of the more popular games that we have produced are based on Hasbro brands.”
IGT has produced a comprehensive list of casino games that is based on Hasbro brands, including popular titles such as Cluedo, Monopoly, Dungeons and Dragons, Transformers and Battleship. The recent license renewal will allow IGT to produce and distribute new games based on products from the Pawtucket-based toy and board game manufacturer.
“We look forward to developing new and innovative games that leverage Hasbro’s iconic gaming brands,” continued Bierer.
“The launch of Monopoly Plus this spring will feature exciting and ground-breaking innovation.”
IGT’s products, including their Hasbro-branded games, will be showcased at ICE Totally Gaming from January 24-26 in London. They will be available at the IGT stand, number 3430.
IGT, based in Reno, Nevada, designs and develops top quality online and mobile games.
