Mobile Horseracing Legislation Passed in New Jersey

Legislation authorizing horseracing wagering via mobile devices has been passed unanimously by the New Jersey General Assembly. This will allow punters to place bets on horse races via mobile devices.

Ronald Dancer, the local representative for New Jersey’s Twelfth Legislative District sponsored Assembly Bill 2610 with the aim that mobile electronic gaming devices would be allowed throughout racetracks including all indoor and outdoor areas of the Meadowlands complex. Continue reading

Kambi Signs Deal with Acrismatic for Online and Mobile Content

Kambi Sports Solutions, the B2B provider of sports betting services for Unibet Group has signed a deal to deliver services to the Spanish casino operator, Grupo Acrismatic.

mGaming Awards Adds Microgaming to Sponsors List

Microgaming has been announced as a sponsor for the upcoming mGaming Awards. iGaming Business has announced that online gaming software developer, Microgaming , has been added to the list of sponsors for the events which will take place on April 25.

The mGaming Summit, which brings together brands, operators, marketing agencies, suppliers, rights holders, federations and payment and billing services, will be held at The King’s Fund in London. iGaming Business has worked together with SportsBusiness Group and WorldTelemedia to create the event. Compuware Announces Best of Web and Mobile Performance Awards

Technology performance company, Compuware Corporation has announced the Best of the Web and Mobile Performance Awards in the UK. The awards recognize the top web and mobile gaming sites of 2011 in the areas of sports betting, online poker and casino games.

Compuware used the Compuware Gomez Last Mile to measure the end-users’ experiences on the sites. It is a global network of more than 150,000 computers that perform synthetic testing. The winners are determines by examining response time, availability and consistency. Continue reading

Sporting Index Group Launches Mobile Platform

Sporting Index Group, the UK-based sports and events spread betting company, has recently launched a new mobile platform. The new HTML 5 app was developed in-house and is compatible with multiple mobile devices, including Android, iPhone, iPad and Blackberry.

TeamSnap, a leading online service for sport team and league management, has announced that 36 percent of their daily visits come from mobile device users. This is up from almost nothing two years ago.

Online poker operator, iGame Limited has signed a deal with gaming software provider, EveryMatrix Limited, for its OddsMatrix sportsbook solution. The deal will see the OddsMatrix sportsbook solution integrated with a number of existing and new iGame brands.

Cirsa Gaming Corporation SA and Parspro have reached an agreement that will see the sports betting software developer providing an automated mobile sportsbook solution to the gaming operator.
