Play’n Go Releases New Mobile Games

The developer of online gaming solutions and software, Play’n Go, has expanded its game portfolio for mobile devices, as well as its Flash games portfolio. The Swedish company has launched six new mobile casino games for smartphone and tablet devices that will be added to its already impressive collection.

The new games include Casino hold’em, Casino stud poker, threy card poker, triple chance hi/lo, scratch ahoy and Hole in One. These games now take the Play’n Go game portfolio up to 24 titles, all of which have been adapted for play on mobile devices. Continue reading

NextGen Releases New Mobile Slots Game for iPhone

NextGen Gaming has released a new mobile slots game that will be available on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform and is also now accessible on Apple’s iPhone through the App Store. The game follows the release of five new slots games by NextGen onto the Quickfire platform only last month which resulted in the total number of NextGen games on the platform to increase to 25.

The games released in February included Hot Hot Volcano, The Snake Charmer, California Gold, Enchanted Mermaid and Gold Ahoy and they proved to be a success with players. Continue reading

UK National Lottery Goes Mobile

The National Lottery in the UK has recently gone mobile, according to operator, The Camelot Group. Their website, National-Lottery.co.uk can now be accessed via mobile devices for the purposes of buying tickets, managing player accounts and checking lottery results.

The Camelot Group has indicated that the mobile site can be accessed via a range of mobile devices. It was developed according to accessibility guidelines and has been audited by Abilitynet, the technology accessibility charity, and has been assessed according to new standards of the Royal National Institute for Blind People. Poker Analytics Launched for iOS

Developed by Laurent Morvillier and Ramzig Sarkissian, Poker Analytics is a new mobile poker software application that offers a detailed analysis of session data.

Aimed at casual poker players, Poker Analytics is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with an iOS of 4.3 or newer. The app is designed to provide detailed analysis of poker sessions, but is not meant to take the place of mainstream database programs such as PokerTracker and Holdem Manager. Continue reading

Compuware Announces Best of Web and Mobile Performance Awards

Technology performance company, Compuware Corporation has announced the Best of the Web and Mobile Performance Awards in the UK. The awards recognize the top web and mobile gaming sites of 2011 in the areas of sports betting, online poker and casino games.

Compuware used the Compuware Gomez Last Mile to measure the end-users’ experiences on the sites. It is a global network of more than 150,000 computers that perform synthetic testing. The winners are determines by examining response time, availability and consistency. Continue reading

Betmotion Signs Deal with Play’n Go for Online and Mobile Games

Leading Latin American online gaming company, Betmotion, has signed a deal with game systems developer, Play’n Go for online and mobile casino game content. The Latin America-facing Betmotion operates casino, poker, sports, bingo and financial betting websites in the region.

The deal will allow Betmotion to integrate and offer flash games for online sites and HTML 5 games for smartphone and tablet devices. Continue reading

King.com Moves into Mobile Sector

Swedish gaming company, King.com is moving into the mobile sector with its acquisition of Stockholm-based mobile games developer, Fabrication Games.

The acquisition, for an undisclosed amount, will give King.com the talent, games and development tools from Fabrication Games. King.com launched its first game, Amazon Survival, on iOS in 2009 and has developed a handful of other games since then. It aims to expand into the iOS and Android markets later in the year and the acquisition will allow it to quickly develop new titles. Continue reading
